Who we are
I set up the bakery in 2021 after trying a very disapointing vegan pork pie in the supermarket. I knew I could do better so started to experiment in my kitchen that day.
A few months later I’d created a menu full of vegan versions of pie shop favourites that I remembered eating as a kid growing up in Wigan. From the Porkless Pie that sparked it all, to Scotch Eh-ggs, Sausage Rolls, and Hearty Pies.
I’ve refined these recipes over the last 4 years and have grown from selling food from the kitchen of my terraced house in Manchester, to a much more professional setup in Salford where I make food to sell at markets around Manchester each week.
Now I want to be able to share this food that I’ve put so much effort into with people all over the country who might have also had a disapointing supermarket pie, but didn’t decide to quit their corporate job and start a bakery because of it.
